How do I call a customer from Alori, or from my own phone?
Click Call on the customer's record or conversation. Alori calls from your business number in the browser. Call from my phone uses your own dialer.
Open the customer in your team app and click Call. Alori calls them from your computer, through your browser, and the customer sees your business number. To use your cell instead, click Call from my phone when it shows, or tap the number on your phone.

Step 1: Find the customer
Open the customer's record in Customers, or their conversation in Conversations. You also find Call back under a missed call or a voicemail in the history.

Step 2: Click Call
Click Call. In a conversation, and on a phone, it's the phone icon at the top. The first time, your browser asks to use your microphone: allow it. A card shows Connecting…, then Ringing…, then On the call.

Step 3: Talk and hang up
Use Mute if you need a moment. Click Hang up when you're done. The card shows Ended: "The summary will show in the history."

Call from your own phone
Calls from Alori work as soon as you have a business number, even while carriers still check your business for texts.
With no business number yet, Call opens your phone's dialer instead. The customer then sees your own number.
If a call from Alori can't start, the card offers Call from my phone.
You can also ask Alori: "Call Samuel." It gets the call ready, and nothing dials until you click Call.

With Record calls on, the recording, transcript and summary land on the customer.
If it doesn't work
"The microphone is blocked" Click the lock left of the address, allow the microphone, then click Try again.
"Calling isn't turned on" Turn on your business number first. See How do I get my business phone number?
"No business number yet" Get one in Alori, under Phone system, or use Call from my phone. See How do I get my business phone number?
"Out of credits to call" Add credits in Alori, then try again. A teammate sees "Ask the app's owner to fix it."
"Too many calls at once" Wait a few minutes before the next call.
"This number doesn't work" Click Fix the number, correct it on the customer's record, then call again.
"The call couldn't start" Check your internet connection, then click Try again.
