How do I manage projects?
In Tasks, click Projects, then New project. Pick the customer (or Internal project), name it, keep the tasks Alori suggests, and click Create.
A project groups the tasks and jobs that belong together, like a renovation or the maintenance season, with or without a customer. In Tasks, click Projects, then New project.

Step 1: Start a new project
Click Tasks in the left menu, then Projects, then New project.

Step 2: Say who it's for
Under Who is it for?, search the customer, or pick Internal project for your own business, like truck inventory or safety training.
Step 3: Say what it is
Under What is it?, type the Project name or tap an idea. Pick a Lead and a Target date if you like: This week, In 2 weeks, End of the month or Choose.
Step 4: Keep the suggested tasks and create
Under Alori suggests these tasks, untick what you don't want. Click Create with … tasks (or Create project). Then click Open the project or See its tasks.

Step 5: Follow the project
On the project's page, set its state (Planned, Active or Done), the Customer, Lead and Target date. Progress shows how many tasks are done. Click Add a task to add more. Link a job, quote or invoice… brings in its jobs and money.

Good to know
The Projects list has tabs: Active, Planned, Done and All. Soonest target date first.
Tasks and dates can be changed in the project anytime.
In All, the Project filter shows one project's tasks.
On a project's page you can tick several tasks to change them together. See How do I change or delete several tasks at once?
You can ask Ask Alori: "start a project for the Benali renovation, due end of month".
If it doesn't work
"Move or delete its tasks, jobs, quotes and invoices first." A project with things in it can't be deleted. Move them out first.
"Give the project a name." Type a name before creating.
"This project is for another customer." Link only jobs, quotes and invoices of the project's customer.
No suggested tasks show. Alori suggests them once the project has a name. Wait a second, or add tasks after.
