What does my technician see?

On their phone, the Dashboard shows today's stops in order, the job happening now in big, with directions, a call button and the next step.

Updated October 24, 2026

When your technician opens the app on their phone, the Dashboard shows their day: how many stops they have, the job happening now in big, and the next stops in order. One tap opens a job with the address, the gate code, the checklist and the next step.

Also called: my day, today's jobs, technician view, field app, ma journée, vue du technicien, mes travaux du jour, job, technicien

Step 1: Today's stops

On a phone, the Dashboard starts with the count, for example "3 stops today". The Now card shows the job underway, or the next one: its time, the customer, the job and the address. Below it, Next lists the other stops with their time, plus Directions and Call buttons. Finished jobs show as small chips at the bottom.

Step 2: Open the job

Tap Open job, or any stop in Next. Getting there shows the address, the Gate code and the customer's notes, with Directions (Google Maps) and Call. For an online visit, Join the meeting opens the video link.

Click: Open job

Step 3: Do the work

On the job page, the technician ticks the To do checklist and adds Photos. The Time on site counts from when they click Start.

Step 4: Move the job forward

One button takes the next step, at the bottom of the screen on a phone: On the way, Start, Finish, then Invoice, if their role can bill. Each step shows Undo in case of a wrong tap.

Click: On the way › Start › Finish

Good to know

  • On a computer, the same day shows in the Today's jobs card on the Dashboard, with each job's length, stage and next step. See all opens the calendar.

  • What a technician sees depends on their role, in Users › Roles:

    • See only their own jobs on: they see only the jobs assigned to them and the jobs where they're on the Crew.

    • See prices and amounts off: no prices or totals anywhere. The bill button reads Invoice, with no amount.

  • A technician with their own jobs only can't schedule or assign jobs.

  • The address on a job comes first; without one, it uses the customer's address.

If it doesn't work

  • "Nothing scheduled today." No job today is assigned to them or has them on its crew. Check the job's Crew and its date.

  • A job is missing from their day. It's assigned to someone else, or to Nobody, and they're not on its crew. Assign it to them, or add them to its Crew.

  • "Sign in to make changes." They were signed out. Sign in again.
