How do I move from HubSpot to Alori?
Open Import data, click Start on HubSpot, connect it, check what comes over, try a sample, then click Import everything.
Open Import data in the side menu and click Start on HubSpot, then follow the steps. Alori only reads HubSpot: nothing changes there.
Also called: migrate, migration, switch from HubSpot, move my CRM, transfer contacts, importer HubSpot, migrer, changer de CRM, transférer mes contacts
Contacts, companies, deals, emails, calls, meetings, notes, tasks, tickets, products, quotes and files come over, into your app's real data. You need a saved account to use Import data.
Step 1: Connect HubSpot
Under Where your data is today, click Start on HubSpot. On Move from HubSpot to Alori, click Connect HubSpot, sign in and allow Alori to read your account. You come back with "HubSpot is connected."
Click: Import data › Start › Connect HubSpot
Step 2: Check what comes over
Alori reads HubSpot: "Reading HubSpot: counting your records and their fields. This takes up to a minute." Check what comes over then shows where each kind of record lands. To change the suggested choices, click Fields, owners and pipelines: pick the teammate for each HubSpot owner's records (New teammate for someone not in Alori yet; no email is sent), and the pipeline and stages for your deals. Changes save on their own; then click Looks good, try a sample.
Click: Fields, owners and pipelines › Looks good, try a sample
Step 3: Try a sample
Pick 10, 25 or 50 contacts and click Import the sample. You get recent contacts with everything linked to them. Not happy? Click Undo the sample (see How do I try a sample first, or undo an import?).
Click: Try a sample › Import the sample
Step 4: Import everything
Click Looks good, import everything, confirm the number of records, then click Import everything. You can close the page: it runs on Alori's servers and emails you a link to the result when done. At the end, "Done: … records are in Alori" lists anything that couldn't come over, then the HubSpot owners who can't sign in yet, with Invite them (see How do I invite the people who came over from HubSpot?).
Click: Looks good, import everything › Import everything
Good to know
Records keep their HubSpot owner; people deactivated in HubSpot become Former teammates.
HubSpot emails and texts go into each customer's history, already read, not your Conversations inbox: a conversation opens when the customer writes again or you write from Alori.
Workflows in use become automations in Bots, turned off so customers don't get messages twice. Turn each on once it's off in HubSpot.
Calls recorded with Aircall: give your Aircall key when asked to bring the recordings (How do I import my Aircall phone setup and recordings?). They can finish after the rest: Already imported shows "Copying call recordings: … of …".
If your app needs an update to receive some records, click Update by your project's name; your data stays.
If it doesn't work
"The connection expired. Reconnect to keep importing." Click Reconnect and sign in again.
"Your old CRM did not answer. Try again in a minute." Click Read HubSpot again in a minute.
"An import is running. Wait for it or stop it." Wait for it to finish.
"This project needs an update before it can import. Open it and publish or upgrade it." Do that, then come back.
"Stopped on an error" Click Continue where it stopped. What came over is kept and updated, not doubled.
"Create your app first: the import goes into its CRM." Create it, then come back.
