Step 1: Open Meetings
In the menu, under Operations, open Meetings. Then click New meeting (the + on a phone). Besides Alori video and In person, you can pick Google Meet (once your Google Calendar is connected) or Another link to paste a Zoom or Teams link.
Click: Meetings › New meeting
Step 2: Add guests and the time
Title (optional): Alori suggests one, like "Virtual visit with Sarah Chen". Under Guests, add teammates, customers or any email. Pick Now, or Pick a time and set the day, start and end.
Step 3: Pick where
Under Where, keep Alori video for a video call, or pick In person and type the Address. With Alori video:
Record saves the video, a transcript and a short summary. Guests agree before they join.
Guests wait to be let in: you or a teammate admits each guest.
Add a Message to your guests if you like.
Step 4: Create it and join
Click Create. With guests, it says Create and invite. For later, it says Plan or Plan and invite. Click Copy link to share it, then Join now: the meeting opens in a new tab, like Google Meet, and your app stays open in its own tab. Or click Later.
Click: Create › Join now
Good to know
The invitation says how to join (nothing to download) and how to cancel or reschedule. See How do guests cancel or reschedule a meeting?
With Google Calendar connected, Google emails the guests. Otherwise Alori does.
A visit or an event on the Schedule can be a video call too: turn on Video meeting in its form.
Join (in Meetings, the Schedule, Home or a booking) opens the meeting in a new tab, like Google Meet; your app stays open. You join under your name, with no waiting room. When you hang up, the tab says You left the meeting, with Rejoin. In the Alori phone app, the call stays in the app.
Opened the guest link from your own calendar? Signed in to Alori, you go straight in as the team. Not signed in, click On the team? Sign in.
