Which email does my personal assistant send from?
Pick it in Send new emails from, under Gmail on your assistant's Apps tab, or just tell your assistant which address to use.
When you have two or more Gmail addresses, you choose which one your personal assistant writes new emails from. Pick it in Send new emails from, or tell your assistant. A reply always goes from the address the email came to.
Also called: default email, courriel par défaut, send from, envoyer de, sender, expéditeur, from address, adresse d'envoi, main email
Step 1: Open your assistant's Apps
On your personal assistant, open Tasks and memory, then the Apps tab. Under Gmail, you see every address your assistant can use.
Click: Bots › your personal assistant › Tasks and memory › Apps
Step 2: Pick the address in Send new emails from
Under What I may do, open Send new emails from and pick the address. It saves right away. From now on, every new email your assistant drafts for you goes from that address, unless you name another one.
Nothing goes out without your yes: your assistant still shows you each email before it sends it.
Click: Gmail › Send new emails from › your address
Or ask your assistant
In the chat, say "send new emails from my work address from now on". Your assistant saves it and tells you.
Why don't I see Send new emails from?
You have only one Gmail: there is nothing to choose. Click Add another Gmail to add one.
What I may do is set to Off or Read only: your assistant doesn't write emails then. Pick Read and act.
An address says Needs to connect again: click Connect again so it shows in the list.
If it doesn't work
"That account didn't connect. Try again." The new Gmail didn't connect. Click Add another Gmail again and pick the account at Google.
Your assistant used another address: you named that one in your message, or it was a reply. Replies go from the address the email came to.
